30-year-old woman killed in car accident

A 30-year-old woman, identified as Julia O’Suna, was killed last night in a vehicular accident.

Reports are that around 8pm, O’Souna of Calcutta #1, Freeport, was in the front passenger seat of a Mitsubishi Lancer with a male driver, proceeding along the North Bound lane of the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway, Claxton Bay.

The driver of the Lancer told police that on reaching near the Claxton Bay Overpass, his vehicle was hit by an AD Wagon.

The Lancer flipped several times, and O’Souna sustained critical injuries.

She died before the police and ambulance arrived. The driver of the Lancer sustained minor injuries.

However, the driver of the AD wagon, a 25-year-old man from Roystonia, Couva, also sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the nearby hospital.
