The Trinidad and Tobago Municipal Police Service says it has been challenged with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic with 30% of its staff being quarantined and 5% testing positive for the virus.
It says during this difficult period, much needed support was extended to colleagues and their families.
The TTMPS says the public can expect to see an intensification of high visibility patrols, especially within rural and recreational areas, during the curfew period and for the upcoming Indian Arrival and Corpus Christi holidays.
