The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service will soon be expanding its fleet of vehicles from 1,668 to 1,900.
An allocation of $30.0M will assist the TTPS in purchasing the following types of vehicles:
Sport Utility Sedan, Armoured Personnel Carrier and Sport Utility Vehicle.
Additionally, 200 tablets will be outfitted places in police vehicles for immediate referencing of traffic offenders, 50 dashboard cameras, 300 body cameras, surveillance drones, polygraph equipment & drug-testing equipment for police officers.
