3 teens wounded in Pleasantville shooting

A shooting in Pleasantville on Tuesday night has left three teens nursing injuries at hospital.

The victims, ages 17, 18, and 19, were liming along Cattaleah Drive around 8:20 pm when they were confronted by a man known to them.

The suspect had been observed jumping a nearby wall before running up to the trio.

Without warning, he opened fire on the group.

Police said the 18-year was shot in the right buttocks, the 17-year-old was shot in the upper left leg, and the 19-year-old was shot in his lower left leg.

The suspect then fled the scene on foot.

Officers from the Mon Repos police station responded and are continuing enquiries.
