Three employees of the Ministry of Public Utilities head office have tested positive for Covid-19 and as such, the building will now undergo a thorough sanitisation process.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Nicolette Duke alerted the public to the news and assured that arrangements are being made to fumigate the entire building today.
Staff at the head office were advised not to report for duty today.
They were also reminded to practice all safety protocols, wear a face mask at all times, and sanitise frequently.
The Ministry said further advisories will be issued as needed.
