One man was arrested and a firearm seized, by officers of the Western Division during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Carenage district yesterday morning.
Officers conducted the exercise around 8am on Saturday 3rd October, 2020, during which they proceeded to the Smith Hill, Carenage home of a 26-year-old man.
The suspect who was in the house at the time of the exercise was searched and found to have one revolver and four rounds of ammunition in his possession.
The man was arrested in connection with the find. Investigations are ongoing.
