The Health Ministry has recorded 22 additional deaths and 403 new positive COVID-19 cases.
This has brought the total number of Covid related deaths to 1,850.
In it’s 4pm update on Saturday, the MOH also revealed that 405 people are currently in hospital while 77 are in step down facilities.
Of the number in hospitals, Dr Abdool-Richards confirmed that five children are in hospital with Covid, 3 on ventilators in ICU.
