A 21-year-old scrap iron dealer will appear before San Fernando Senior Magistrate Jo-Anne Connor today, charged with the murder of 29-year-old Kristian Sirjusingh.
RENALDO LEWIS, of La Sofie Road, Claxton Bay is also being charged with wounding with intent, robbery and shooting with intent of Rishi Ramcharitar, following the advice received from Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, Ms. Joan Honore-Paul, on Friday 30th August, 2019.
Mr. Sirjusingh, died after succumbing to gunshot wounds to the chest, during a robbery at Michelle’s Bar in Happy Hill Gasparillo on Monday 19th August 2019.
Lewis was subsequently arrested by officers on Saturday 24th August 2019, in connection with the incident.

Investigations were supervised by Insp (Ag.) Darryl Corrie with assistance from W/Sgt Stephen-James, WPC Knight and PC Lall, of all of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI), Region 3. Cpl Smith of HBI Region 3 laid the charges.
