200,000 doses of the WHO approved Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine landed at the Piarco International Airport at 1:37 pm this afternoon, Monday 14th June, 2021.
The Honourable Terrence Deyalsingh, Minister of Health, Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, as well as His Excellency Fang Qiu, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Trinidad and Tobago were on hand to witness the arrival of the vaccines, which were procured by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago.
