Two additional cases of the Omicron variant have been recorded in Trinidad and Tobago.
Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh made the revelation at Saturday’s media briefing.
One case was detected in a passenger who came in from a flight that was diverted to Puerto Rico earlier this week, while the other originated from a Miami flight.
Both cases, he said, have been isolated.
