2-month old boy dies in San Fernando; post mortem ordered

Police are investigating the death of a two-month-old boy, identified as Javion James.

Around 2:55 am yesterday morning, baby James was brought to the San Fernando General Hospital by his parents, who said they found him unresponsive at their San Fernando home around 2:30 am that same morning.

He was last seen alive and well around 9pm the previous night.

However, the toddler was declared dead shortly after arrival at the hospital.

Police were told that there did not appear to be marks of violence on the body, however, the young child appeared to be underweight.

As a result, a post mortem was ordered to confirm the cause of death.
