A shooting incident in Arouca on Thursday has left two men warded at hospital, one in a critical condition.
Reports are that Kernell Williams, 30 and Chea Hutchinson, 29, were liming with a group of friends at the corner of Perkins and St John Street, Arouca, when a man approached the group.
The suspect, who had a white T-shirt over his face, was wearing a black jersey and blue three-quarter pants.
It is said he started firing indiscriminately on the group and then fled the scene.
When the dust clear, it was discovered that Williams was shot in the shoulder while Hutchinson was shot in the neck.
Both were taken to hospital by officers of the Arouca CID who responded to the attack.
Williams was said to be in a stable condition, however, Hutchinson was listed as critical.
