A shootout involving members of the police service has led to the death of two men in Longdenville.
One of the victims has been identified as Kevin “Chappy” Edwards the other Sterling Raymond
Around noon on Wednesday, police reported that they were chasing two men in a Hyundai Tucson SUV through the Longenville area when the men began shooting at the police vehicle.
The officers retaliated, and on reaching the vicinity of the Longdenville police station, the vehicle with the two suspects stopped and they were found bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds.
They were rushed to hospital but both men were declared dead on arrival at the Chaguanas Health Facility.
