There are reports that two members of the National Security are dead, after they shot and killed each other around 2:30am this morning.
Reports circulating state that a male police officer was walking through a track near the Diego Martin Terminal with a female friend, having just left the friend’s home, when a male coast guard officer, who is known to both of them, approached.

It is alleged that a confrontation ensued, during which both men reportedly drew their respective firearms and shot each other.
The coast guard officer was shot once and died on the spot, while the police officer, who was also hit, managed to reach his car and drive a short distance before succumbing to his injuries.
The men have been identified as PC Jono Golston and TTCG Jabari Francois.
