Two men were shot and killed and a British national injured during an incident on Ariapita Avenue, Woodbrook on Saturday morning.
Around 4:25am officers of the Woodbrook Police Station responded to explosions on Ariapita Avenue and on arrival, found two men lying motionless with gunshot wounds.
One of the men died at the scene, while the other succumbed to his injuries at hospital.
A female British national visiting T&T for Carnival was also injured.
She was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital after suffering from a gunshot wound to her right calf in the vicinity of the shooting.
Enquiries are continuing.
The victims have not yet been identified.
