189 new COVID-19 cases, 1 young adult male with co-morbidities adds to Sunday’s 7 deaths

Seven additional persons have died from COVID-19 related complications taking T&T’s death toll to 1,039.

The Ministry of Health’s clinical update shows 189 new COVID-19 cases with a total of 5,913 active positive cases – 314 in hospital, 78 in step down facilities, 127 in state quarantine and 5,332 in self-isolation.

There has been 134 community recovered cases.
