14 arrested during Zess in Beetham

Fourteen people were arrested between the hours of 9am and 2pm on Wednesday, at a party in Beetham Gardens.

TTPS report that officers of the POS Task Force, received a call around 11:30am of a party in progress at 19 Street, Beetham Gardens.

On arrival, the team of officers, led by Sergeant Alexander and PC Bacchus, observed a large group of people, approximately 50 in number.

The officers told the group that they were in breach of the public health regulations and cautioned them.

Several persons ran off in different directions and the police were able to apprehend 14 people, who were then conveyed to the Besson Street police station and charged.
