100% of impacted customers in Trinidad have been restored, this according to T&TEC

T&TEC have now logged a total of 130 outage reports, 90 of which have been completed and 40 remain outstanding.

Eleven crews, including 25 men from Trinidad, are on the ground continuing work. Some of the areas in which we completed work overnight include New Providence, Les Couteaux, parts of Scarborough, Whim, Orange Hill, and Spring Garden.

On Monday 23rd the Studley Park Substation was brought back on supply around 1 p.m., restoring electricity to customers in the Windward area, up to Charlotteville. Some customers on the outskirts of Charlotteville who are served from the feeder on the Northside of the island– Campelton, Lanse Fourmi, Hermitage–remained off as restoration work continued on the Northside.

IzzSo spoke with T&TEC’s Communications Specialist, Annabelle Brasnell this morning on the restoration of power throughout T&T.
