Officers of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) conducted a cannabis eradication exercise, Thursday 26th September, 2024 in the Toco District.
This exercise was supported by officers of the Coastal and Air Support Unit, supervised by Insp Ronnie Rampallard, SIU Training Team and other specialist sections within the TTPS.
The team discovered and destroyed 1350 fully grown cannabis trees, 22.7 kilos of dried cannabis and one drying rack, located in a camp on 0.051 hectares of land.
The total street value for the destroyed narcotics is $1,577,000.00, Trinidad and Tobago currency.
